Driving shots, camera car, dog and cat performances were not the biggest challenges on this shoot for Reactine, directed by Steve Colby. The small town of Sanford, Florida was by far the best choice for a hometown parade scene, but the local businesses were more than apprehensive about production closing down Main Street.  Scouting locations as well as working as the AD allowed me to establish a rapport with the merchants, attend town meetings and ultimately obtain approval for the shoot.
